Snow Patrol

So last night myself and a couple mates went off to Wembley Arena to see Snow Patrol. I had spent the previous two days listening to there last two albums non-stop, and I was extremely amped to see them.
Firstly Wembley is far, and in a part of London none of us have ever really spent much time in. A few warm-up drinks in a pub helped shake off the post-work daze, then off to the venue.
Imagine Standard Bank Arena, that's Wembley and for gigs like this has a capacity of around 10 000 people. The venue is non-smoking and there was no coat check which was a real bugger as it is hovering around zero degrees outside and there was nowhere to put our jerseys and coats.
The first 3 songs were kak! I knew and loved the songs but they didn't have the sound right and it sounded like the lead singer hadn't warmed up. Fortunately it got better and better with every song after that. If you click on the camera button under the map on the right of the screen you can see one of the photo's I took. My poor little camera on my phone really struggles when it comes to zooming!
So all in all a good gig- didn't blow my mind, and I really believe that Snow Patrol would be better in a smaller venue.
