Paolo Nutini, The Days, Munich
Word honeys!
Writing with a minor headache today after seeing Paolo Nutini last night. Excellent concert, and the kid is only 19. An added bonus was the number of exquisite women at the concert- groupies, every one of them I tell you!
More interestingly was his support act, a young group called 'The Days'. They were outstanding, kinda Razorlight with Madness influences. They've just been signed by Atlantic records and are releasing their album early next year. I'm sooo gonna get it. So when these guys are the next big thing, just remember where you heard it first! Have a listen to a couple of their songs on their myspace page, they rock.
There's no letting up with the partying for me I'm afraid. Got a corporate 'hobnobbing' event this evening so no doubt the beer will be flowing. Then a web 2.0 get together on Friday so I can rub shoulders with some people who should be able to teach me things which will be useful for my startup. Then next week I'm off to Munich! It's our company Christmas party so I am flying over from Tuesday to Saturday- cool! The following week is the Lycos Christmas party in London, and I'm going to see Snowpatrol.
Then Christmas and New Year- Dublin baby.
